A Day in the Life of Tayo

Tayo is a playful city bus and the main character of the series. He made his debut in Season 1 episode A Day in the Life of Tayo. His route number is 120.

Bio[]

Tayo made his first appearance in Season 1 episode A Day in the Life of Tayo, where he took his driving test where he was passed as a city bus. However, when he was on the way to the Bus Garage with Cito, he was interrupted by Speedy in the intersection and ended up on a highway entrance. In Tayo Gets Lost, he went out on the Bus Garage all by himself and got lost. In Tayo's First Drive, he practiced on how to board passengers at the bus stop until he perfectly aced it.

Appearance[]

Tayo is a little blue bus, his number is 120, he has 15 yellow seats inside. Circle headlights which are the eyes, small gray oblong nose, gray grille mouth, yellow shaped obtuse triangle signal light, dark gray front bumper, the wiper are the eyebrows.

Personality[]

Tayo is a playful bus and sometimes mischievous, and enjoys farting. He enjoys playing games with his best friend Rogi the green bus. He is less mature than the other buses, but rarely gets into serious trouble. He also rarely loves going into outer space.

  • According to the Tayo the Little Bus YouTube channel, Tayo's birthday is on January 20th, which is the reason why he has the number 120.
  • Tayo's design resembles an hybrid design of 1st generation Zyle Daewoo Bus BS106 facelift and Hyundai New Super Aero City F/L. Rogi also shares the same design.
  • His livery is based on Seoul Mainline bus.
  • Tayo had fire eyes as shown in Season 3 episode, The Little Buses Sports Day.
  • In Titipo Titipo, the spin-off series of Tayo the Little Bus, he appears in Season 1 episodes "Going to Choo-Choo Town!", "Genie Makes a New Friend", and "Titipo and Tayo".
  • There's also a Filipino/Tagalog language word of the English counterpart (We and Stand Up) with the same name.
